Do you have the latest version of Google Maps for the N97? Current version is 3.2.0. You can get it from http://m.google.com

Are there any problems you are having in particular or does the app not load at all?
If so check there is enough space on the C: drive, if installed to the C drive, try uninstalling it and then re-installing to the E: drive (32GB Mass Storage drive).
