I was thinking about how the body's existing pathways of nerves, muscle fibres, tendons etc could all be used as communications devices around the body. Just a quick muttering but here goes.

Imagine being able to plug a device, maybe a camera into a nerve or any other tissue capable of transmission, in the same way as acupuncture needles are bunged into the body. The connection would be made and signals would be sent, either electrical or nano robots or something mashed up like that, to the optic nerve or the relevant visual processing parts of the brain. Nice, eyes in the back of your head. Also music piped directly to your head, the possibilities are endless LOL.
